The Sylvan Lake Chamber is proud to release our video: OUR TOWN, a shop local initiative funded by the Federal Government of Canada.

Local video agency, IQ Productions wrote and produced the video and helped us share the long history of entrepreneurism and fortitude of Sylvan Lake through trying times - and to illustrate the domino effect buying local has.

Businesses sponsor kids sports, donate to the many non-profit businesses, create local jobs, mentorship opportunities for youth, they sponsor a great many local initiatives such as the Sylvan Lake Winter Village and many other things that enhance our quality of life.

Our hope with this project is to remind Lakers of the power they have when they choose to "shop local" to impact our overall quality of life in Sylvan Lake.
