Cyber Security Webinar with Field Effect

About this Event

In this ever-evolving work environment, how should your cyber security change?

Companies around the world transitioned their teams to work remotely as a health precaution during the COVID-19 pandemic. While some businesses have announced their shift to digital will be permanent, others are making plans to go back to the office. What precautions do you need to take to protect you and your organization from an increase in cyber threats during this unprecedented time?

Employees using their own devices, the increased use of cloud services and exposing previously internal services to the Internet all result in more opportunity for the “bad guys” to compromise your organization’s network. Unfortunately, it is during trying times such as these, where people are particularly vulnerable, that threat actors will take advantage of the situation for their own gains.

At Field Effect, we pride ourselves on protecting Canadian businesses and organizations from cyber threats. And so, we’ve partnered with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce as one of their Essential Business Services (EBS) programs, to share with you the steps you need to take to ensure your organization’s cyber security stays healthy throughout this pandemic and beyond.

What we’ll cover during this webinar:

·           Cyber threats you need to be aware of

·           Data trends we’re seeing during the pandemic

·           Equipment needs. Is it okay to work on your own computer?

·           Video conferencing – is it secure?

·           Email security

·           How can you ensure your security in this new environment? Are there specific things to be thinking about?
