We are creating a new attraction down Centennial Street with the cooperation of businesses between Lakeshore Drive and the train tracks. Our hope is that this initiative will drive more traffic to the area this season and further remind people to shop local.
This initiative is spearheaded through the Winter Village Committee and will be free for any business on this stretch of Centennial Street if they register to be a part of the Passport to Christmas Program and/or Planter Parade, otherwise it will cost $25.
The Committee will supply basic pre-assembled wooden snowmen for participating businesses to get creative and personalize their snowman in any way they see fit!
We look forward to seeing the public make a point to take a stroll and stop in at these businesses this season...and for them to let us know which are their favorites!.
Any Centennial Street business interested can contact our committee member in charge of this initiative, Kjeryn Dakin (Bukwildz). Psst...she recently received the 2019 Young Entrepreneur Award, so if you chat with her, be sure to congratulate her!
