Book your Christmas Planter for the Planter Parade!

What is the Christmas Planter Parade?

Christmas at the Winter Village, for those of you not in the know, features whimsical Christmas Planters created by businesses, teams, non-profit groups and families. It adds to the glow and magic of the season for all who stroll through to take in these creations. It's a great opportunity to connect with the community.  The public does vote for their favorite planters at local businesses in the area, just for fun.

How many planters are at the site?

We have approximately 44 planters that will line the pier, while some are already spoken for, there are still several planters available.

How much does it cost to book a planter?

  • Non-profit groups or families: $65
  • Businesses: $100

What does it include?

We provide a giant planter, the soil, small pine tree and lighting around the base of the planter and a sign with your family or organization name or logo on it.

What do we supply when we book a planter?

You supply the decorations and lighting for your planter design - but please note that you will need to use solar or battery operated lights for the tree as we do not supply power.  You are also responsible for removing your decorations.

How do I book and what is the deadline to book?

The deadline to book a planter is November 20th.  You can book on line using this secure link where you can provide details and payment.

How is the money from planter bookings used?

Funds raised cover the cost of the materials we provide, and any excess funds all go to the Winter Village Fund.  The Winter Village is funded entirely by donations and costs approximately $30,000 to create each year.  The goal of the Winter Village is to attract locals and visitors downtown in the colder months which we believe is good for business and our local economy.
