The annual Sylvan Lake Business Awards is a prestigious event that recognizes and celebrates the outstanding achievements of businesses in the community. From small, locally-owned shops to larger corporations, these awards honor companies and individuals that have made a significant impact on the local economy, our community, and have demonstrated a commitment to excellence.

The awards ceremony, also known as the Mermaid Ball and Business Awards, is a glamorous event filled with excitement, inspiration, and networking. It is a night where the business community comes together to celebrate the best of the best in 2023, and acknowledge the hard work and dedication of the finalists, and reveal the winners in each of the 10 business award categories.

The Mermaid Ball and Business Awards are planned and executed by the Sylvan Lake Chamber of Commerce, but it is an anonymous panel of judges selected from the community of Sylvan Lake that evaluates all qualifying applications to select the finalists each year.
